The Process

Linoleum printing is one of my favorite techniques. The curves and shapes created when carving the linoleum transform any idea, no matter how simple, into a minimalistic work full of character.

For me, printmaking is a Zen art – an amalgamation of spirituality, education, culture and creativity – in which less is more. I am fully present while I create and attribute my appreciation of the beauty in imperfection to my printmaking journey.

In this video, you can see how the LILY OF THE VALLEY design was made and printed with Cranfield gold print paint on Arches 100% cotton black paper.
